It was almost 100 degrees today!

It’s soooo hot!  Unbearably hot.  Hot hot hot.  I mean, it’s hotter than H – E – double toothpicks !  Um, did I mention that it’s hot?!

I’m back from San Diego.  It makes me sad to think that I probably won’t go back any time soon. It’s really a lovely place. And also, the weather is much better than here. (Did I mention that it’s rather hot at the moment?)

But I’m super-happy, too! Because the reason I won’t be going to San Diego is because Tiger is moving here! Yay! Yippee! Just a few more weeks.

Our days and conversations are filled with practical matters — what to sell, what to ship, how to pack it, and so on. Sometimes it’s easy to get bogged down in the details. So I’m trying to remember to focus on the bigger picture. All this work and effort and details (and to be honest, most of the work is on Tiger’s shoulders, not mine) is so that we can be together. And I’m pretty darn happy about that.
